This is Dr. Delgado’s workout routine and supplement regime preparing for this mind-boggling event at 65 years old!
“I feel great, my joints are perfect, my core strength is coming up. I’ve had special body balancing yoga stretches, and Dr. Tom Hewko has been adjusting me 2 times a week. My energy, endurance, and strength have improved dramatically in these last 5 years since my last competition where Team USA defeated all competitors led by Dr Nick.
U use Cyclic Variation in Adaptive condition CVAC 2 times a week. On separate days use HBOT, hyperbaric oxygen. While at my desk or in CVAC I use the True Tesla MAX device sending over 400 volts at low amperage to allow full deep strong muscular contractions. I work less used muscle groups such as hamstrings, buttocks, and chest. It’s improved my overall balance, posture, muscle density, and strength. As we age we must combat loss of lean mass and frailty to have a strong immune system.
For the last 25 years, I have used 25-minute mediation Nuero reprogramming upon waking and before bed to my already 8 hours of sleep each night, to allow me to push beyond my perceived boundaries into new frontiers of performance and to stay on track for my life goals.
Now, Arnold, last year announced at the Arnold and in the Netflix movie “The Game Changer” that he has gone mostly plant-based diet, avoiding all dairy and most meat. My diet has been plant-based oil-free, 70% raw for over 40 years. I’ve been using the recipes from my Simply Healthy cookbook which is oil-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free, and the only sugars are from whole natural foods.
I have been drinking a lot of the Slim Blend Protein and fiber, phytonutrient probiotic blend. It’s amazing, no GMO, completely organic, has tons of ingredients and tastes awesome.
I mix this with Beet Vitality which also has special amino acids to release growth factors like peptides to rebuild and repair my body after hard intense workouts. I often consume over 64 oz of cold-press vegetable juices mixed with these powders.

I have been eating about 15% good fats only fully intact (never the oils) from soaked and sprouted nuts and seeds, avocados, and olives. This is supported by a big bowl of oil-free beans, mushrooms, and vegetables.
I’ve been eating between a 12-hour window (8 am to 8 pm) and I anticipate drops in blood sugar by mindful intentional eating. This tip has allowed me to stay fit, and lean, and outperform even world-class athletes who are half my age.
