I want to share with you why I wrote this book. I previously suffered with a weakened immune system which led me to search the world for the answers that you are about to learn. In writing this
book I have literally drawn upon over 1,000 interviews that I have collected from over 26,000 leading researchers and scientists to help design the best approach to immune rejuvenation. I wrote
abstracts and blogs with my team of experts and presented my findings to doctors and scientists all over the world at medical and nutritional conferences.
I was not always healthy. My first 23 years of life were filled with health struggles. At the age of 12, I was not only extremely overweight, I also suffered with irritable bowel syndrome. I went
to a doctor who didn’t believe I was having diarrhea every day. I left dismayed however I went to the medical library and found a nutrition textbook that helped me understand more about digestive health. I discovered Latins, Asians, and Blacks react more severely than other races to yogurt, cheese, whole and even nonfat cows milk. I realized these foods were making my condition worse and within a few days of eliminating all dairy from my diet, the loose bowels were solved. My health struggles didn’t end there though. From the age of 16 to 22, I struggled with hypertension, skin conditions, hormonal imbalances including estrogen dominance, excessive overeating, and a body fat level of over 25%. Most of these problems were solved with a plantbased, oil-free, sugar-free diet, which I implemented after meeting and studying with Nathan Pritikin. I also studied with the German doctor, Ron Duvendack, MD. He taught me the importance of monitoring the immune system, and how to do so with blood microscopy, and white blood cell, liver, kidney, and lipid metabolism analysis.
I learned how whole plant-based foods can alter inflammatory antigens and how the correct combination of herbs and foods helps to build a healthier immune system. I also learned the importance of using delayed food testing in order to identify potentially intolerant foods. The body may view common foods you consume as foreign proteins which can make even the healthiest of
foods damaging to your body, and this is particularly common in people with autoimmune diseases.
Adrenal fatigue was another huge piece of the puzzle of immune depression that I discovered.
If you get sick often, experience cravings or addictions, or have ongoing fatigue ask yourself the following:
Do you feel tired even after a good night’s sleep?
Do you find it difficult to recover after exercise, especially after participating in extreme sports?
Do you have constant colds, flu, and bronchitis that have lasted months which prevents you from being able to exercise consistently?
If you answered yes to any of the above, adrenal fatigue is likely to blame.
For over 40 years I have been gathering more pieces of the puzzle through research, clinical practice, anti-aging conferences, and lifestyle medicine events. I also gained essential insights
during my studies alongside some of the world’s leading endocrinology interventionists including Thierry Hertoghe, MD, UC San Diego Professor Ron Rothenberg, Jonathan Wright, MD, Edwin
Lee, MD, and several others. They have all published several textbooks on hormone management and longevity. I applied our collective findings to our clients and used lifestyle medicine (herbs,
sleep hygiene, stem cells, mitochondrial support, etc) to improve hormone balance, overcome estrogen dominance and adrenal fatigue, and rejuvenate the immune system.
This was amazing, yet I discovered the ability to guide people on their journey toward optimal health is best accomplished with the science of epigenetics. I continued to mentor students and
doctors while I became a high-level life mastery coach for Tony Robbins Mastery University. My work with Tad James, Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., and Mark Victor Hansen, Author of Chicken Soup for
the Soul, the Ask series, and the number one trainer in TimeLine Therapy, helped me to realize that when we include the power of the subconscious mind, we can help millions of people transform their lives.
The proper integration of each of these therapies allowed for a personalized plan that was reproducible. The turnaround in my health even though I am past the age of 65 has included my participation in extreme nonstop weight-lifting sports which I love. My immune system according to most of my doctor friends is extraordinary. Optimizing my clients’ health, many of whom are famous doctors, fitness stars, and executives who are past the age of 60, 70, 80, or even 90 has been an incredible journey!
To help make optimal health accessible to the masses, I started offering affordable online courses, and podcasts that are aired on Spotify, iTunes, and YouTube, which is approaching 2 million views. Our coaching program is now personalized for each person based on their goals.
