I’m writing from Austin, Texas, where I’m attending Dave Asprey’s BEYOND Wonderland at the Omni Barton Creek Resort on October 13 and 14.
Being surrounded by conversations about longevity, consciousness, emotional healing, and human performance has reinforced something I have believed for decades:
Getting older does not mean giving up on your energy, clarity, confidence, or vitality.
It means becoming more intentional about rebuilding what time, stress, and daily life can gradually take away.
What Is Your Body Trying to Tell You?
Healthy cells continually recycle damaged components—including mitochondria, the structures responsible for producing cellular energy. As we age, many of the body’s renewal processes can become less efficient.
That is one reason I encourage people to pay attention to changes such as:
- Frequently cold hands or feet
- Unexplained weight changes
- Persistent fatigue or sluggishness
- Thinning of the outer third of the eyebrows
- Changes in memory, concentration, or mental clarity
- Changes in the feet or arches
These signs can have many possible causes and should not be used to diagnose a thyroid or other medical condition on your own. If you are experiencing them, speak with a qualified healthcare professional and consider appropriate testing.
For people looking for nutritional support, here are three formulas from the Delgado Protocol:
Thyroid Plus
Thyroid Plus is designed to support healthy thyroid function, metabolism, energy, and hormonal balance.
Mental Mend
Mental Mend is formulated to support focus, mental clarity, emotional resilience, and a calmer state of mind.
Brain Builder+
Brain Builder+ is designed to support cognitive performance, alertness, focus, and mental clarity.

Supplements are not a substitute for individualized medical care. If you have symptoms, take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have a diagnosed medical condition, consult your healthcare professional before beginning a new supplement.
“I Just Don’t Have Time”
You have probably said it about the gym, the friend you keep meaning to call, or the opportunity you promise yourself you will explore one day:
“I just don’t have time right now.”
I believe you.
You look at your week on Sunday night, and there is not one empty square. Work consumes the day, while family, errands, and everything else compete for whatever remains. When something new appears, there seems to be nowhere to put it.
But “I don’t have time” rarely gets resolved. We simply repeat it the following month about the same thing.
That is why I want to tell you about Tracy.
Tracy donates her time while working more than 80 hours a week. She is also the mother of a two-year-old and has pets waiting for her at home. Yet somewhere inside that extraordinarily full life, she has been making time to train in emotional awareness, improve her health, and prepare for new professional opportunities.
Recently, she completed two interviews in one day, advanced to the second round in both, and scheduled two more interviews for the following day.
What impressed me most was what she said afterward:
“I’m being intentional with every opportunity. I want to make sure it’s the right fit for me—not just jump at the first opportunity.”
That is the voice of a woman creating options for herself.
Tracy did not discover an extra day in the week. She has the same 168 hours the rest of us have, and more than 80 of hers are already spoken for.
I am not going to tell you that you are not busy. You probably are. I am not going to tell you that you need to start waking up at 4:00 a.m., either—although that happens to be when I am often most creative and do some of my best writing.
I will simply share the final line from Tracy’s post:
“If I can do it, believe in yourself. Anything is possible.”
Where Do You Need a Breakthrough?
Perhaps your business is growing, but you still do not feel healthy, energized, fit, or confident in your body.
Maybe your health is improving, but your income does not yet reflect the value you bring.
Or perhaps you are confident and decisive in business, yet find yourself settling for less than you truly desire in a relationship.
When one part of life remains frustratingly out of sync with everything else, it may be time to stop trying to solve it with the same patterns that created it.
For a deeper conversation about creating breakthroughs, listen to this episode:
